A St. Vital Sensation

What could be more encouraging to someone who loves stories than to walk into a room packed with 18 budding writers, eager to share their ideas and learn a few new creative writing tips? Let’s just say that my afternoon workshop at St. Vital library on March 28 was exciting and very inspiring!

This group certainly had “eyes and ears” for sense-sational language, using words and phrases to express their ideas that made me feel like I was experiencing exactly what your characters did.

I’m so glad that you chose to dedicate an afternoon of your Spring Break to creative writing. That shows a love for stories that I definitely admire! I hope that many of you went home and continued to work on those fantastic stories you shared!
