No TV? No Fair! – The Launching!
On Sunday, May 16, 2010 “No TV? No Fair!” was officially launched into the universe at McNally Robinson (Winnipeg)! What a kick-off!
Once again, McNally Robinson Booksellers on Grant (Winnipeg) did a fabulous job at putting together a fun and memorable event. A huge thanks to the bookstore and to my publisher Formac Lorimer for sponsoring this amazing book launch!
The launch wouldn’t have been a success without friends, family, and fans (cool – I have fans!) who came out to support me and to learn about the book. Thanks for coming out and being part of a special day. There’s a bit of an amateur actor in me, and as some of you remarked, I like “getting into” my reading. You were a receptive audience for my “performance” and to my delight laughed in all the right places! (phew!)
Now, I hope that you all enjoy those copies of “No TV? No Fair” that you took home – be sure to let me know what you think!
I will now return to dancing on the ceiling for a bit – and then it’s time to get back to writing and dreaming!
